Experience the ultimate fly fishing adventure at our 2nd annual Tarpon Retreat, hosted by Forgotten Coast Fly Company. Embark on five action-packed days of tarpon fishing with some of the area's top guides, exploring the pristine waters of Apalachicola and the surrounding areas. Your retreat includes six nights at the historic Gibson Inn, a century-old property located in the heart of downtown Apalachicola. Nestled amidst charming streets and vibrant culture, the Inn offers the perfect blend of coastal charm and comfort.
We’ve thought of everything. Round-trip transportation to and from Tallahassee Int. Airport (TLH) is provided, so all you need to do is show up ready to fish and unwind. All meals are provided, with every evening spent at a different restaurant in Apalachicola, where you’ll experience fresh, local cuisine in an intimate, community-centered atmosphere. We’re excited to showcase the area's fresh seafood and flavors. Alcoholic beverages are not included.
As a retreat exclusive, you'll also receive 10 custom-tied tarpon flies and special apparel with artwork created by the talented Bre Drake. It’s the perfect combination of fly fishing, fun, and local culture. This is more than just a fishing trip; it’s an immersive experience of Florida’s Forgotten Coast. We can’t wait to show you around our beautiful town and waters!
If you have a non-angler who would like to join in on the retreat activities (excluding the fishing), we offer a non-angler rate of $550. This covers meals (everything except skiff lunches), transportation, and all scheduled events. This option pairs with the single-occupancy room rate.

This is a 50% deposit required for booking. An invoice for the remaining balance will be sent via email. The final payment is due 8 weeks prior to the trip on April 26th, 2026.
Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your reservation. Because this trip takes place during the peak of hurricane season, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance.
